Welcome to Yokota-Cats

 

My name is Amanda and I live with my husband Jim and our 6 year old daughter in Dunstable, Bedfordshire

 

YOKOTA is my breeding prefix registered with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF).

 

Our first taste of pedigree cats were a pair of rescues – a blue Burmese called Raj and a beautiful Tonkinese called Isis. I fell in love with the Tonkinese breed and started showing and breeding them back in 1998. The next year, I was looking at other breeds that would live happily with my Tonks, Introducing the Birman breed into my house.

 

We aim to breed happy, healthy and well socialised kittens.

 

 

SHOW NEWS

I’m very pleased to announce, our newest addition to the household—Jablook Yokota-Issabella aka Izzie on her debut to the show bench at the Tonkinese Breed Club Show on Saturday 25 October 2008   was not only Best In Show Kitten, she was OVERALL BEST IN SHOW
